Little Red Cabinet - before and after

Well it's done and assembled... Click to see larger image....What do you think???
Painted furniture appeals to my CQ encrusted brain.....

I did make an extra "tray" top that I can lift on and off and it extends the top by 3" in both directions as the whole purpose of this project was to have more space.... I will add fancy handles to fancy top!!!! To see some FANTASTIC painted furniture..... http://www.reincarnations.com/

OHHHHH OHHHHHH OHHHHHHH Gerry that is just AWESOME. BUTTTTT how are you going to let yourself USE it - especially putting anything on the top??? WOW it is just beautiful and does not look at all like the plain cupboard before. Lovely job my dear.

You have many talents! Not only with a needle :)

Gerry, this is so pretty. You have way too much talent for one woman.
I'm still waiting to find out if there's anything you *can't* do....I very much doubt it!

Gerry, the comment from Cara Narkun is really from me. She is visiting us and must have accessed her account from our computer.

Geryy, your just like my big sister, she can do needlework, make dols, paint and do folk art too, just like you. I stumbled accross your blog some time ago, but haven't visited for a while, but an sorry to hear about your leg. I hope you heal soon, and the snow keeps you needleworking while your mending. I love your cabinet, when we go home later this year, i get to do up a craft room, i might just have to ask my sister to paint a box like this for me. thank you for the idea, may i save a copy of your photo for future reference.
