I did some final touches on the wool RRs. I had asked for SPRING! with blocks festooned with flowers so I did a little more "festooning" on some... I hope to have this finished within the week. The front cover is done and I'm working on the back. I will do a tutorial on how I integrate the text.
I had a great rest at the hot springs and walked several times a day with the dogs... but even still I managed to get a killer cold after I got home.. They had a great "getaway package" two dinners, two breakfasts and a night's lodging plus the hot springs... $199. Here is DH enjoying his lobster... I had prime rib. The food was incredible... Both appetizer and dessert were included... The appetizer was a seafood platter with two kinds of shrimp, calamari, and crab cakes. The weather was mild and the 3 hour drive through the mountains was lovely... We went there for DH's 80th birthday last June and might make it an annual getaway...

Its good to hear that you had a nice time at the hot springs. I love your sheep blocks - they do say spring...and I'm ready for it! I think March is my least favourite month - the roads and driveway get all dried off and then we get more snow. The fellow who plows out our driveway took the plow blade off his machine and had to put it back on. Oh well, it won't last forever.
Glad you enjoyed your visit but sorry to hear you brought home a cold. That lobster looks yummy!

The lobster and lambs look Yummy!
Love your sheep stitchery! And the Hot Springs sounded wonderful. I was wondering if you have any helpful hints for organizing your "stuff" when you take your crazy quilting things along with you? There's always so many beads, ribbon, thread etc. etc. that I always forget something!
The sheep blocks are looking absolutely lovely! Can't wait to see your finished book. Ron is looking good; say hi to him for me. I think next time you two go out like that, you should get a nice picture taken together. xxxx
Still working on how to write a comment on your blog. We'll see if this went through. Love your sheep stitchery. My question is about how you organize your "stuff" when you take it with you. There's always so much ribbon, trim, thread, beads, etc. I always seem to forget something that I need.
So glad you had a good time away. What a great deal!
The sheep are looking so good!
I am so glad that you were refreshed by the hot springs, the mountains, the food and time with your adorable DH. If I didn't have such a cute one myself, I'd be stealing him!
Hope you are healing and surrounding yourself with the marvels of Spring, your lamb book and all other joys of life. Hugs...
