I added rhinestone stars for the Jack in the Box to juggle.. I felt the arms and hands were too strong an outward element so the stars bring the eye movement hand to hand.... I also liked the way the red stars echoed the strong red patch... NOW I'm really finished....

My jaw dropped when I saw these pics - WOWZA!!! What a beautiful design, and such lovely stitching!! You have an amazing eye for design. Love this :)
OH my goodness Gerry! This block is fantastic! I love it. It is such a fun, fun block. You have outdone yourself.
Your jack in the box is fantastic. Who wouldn't want one of these to pop up on their quilt square.
You do very original and beautiful work. I envy you.
Hugs

The stars are an inspired addition, Gerry! Whatever will happen to Debbie's socks when she sees this?!
Ok Gerry, this is just too darn cute! My socks are gone again and I know I won"t find them this time! luv ya, Debbie (Maine)
I am just catching up on my blog reading, Gerry, and I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your blog. I don't always comment but there were so many things here today that I just had to tell you how great it is that you share so much.
The stars were JUST the RIGHT thing for this Jack and I adore the different faces and the idea that you sent them out to friends to put hats on them...well, that takes the cake. And, your handyman is a hunk and your techniques for embroidering on felt are inspired. Thank you for being fun and giving and having such a great sense of humor. Keep it up!
