The January block was finished once my signature button was attached. The first birds that come to mind now are waxwing, hummingbird, and swallow... Having a new bird to look forward each month will keep this challenge interesting.

He's beautiful! Looks about ready to hop right off the block.
I love the gold on white and of course the pearls.
Just beautiful again.

Very pretty and wintry.
Have a lovely week ~ FlowerLady
This is going to be a fun year to watch. I am so glad I finally got the bird block done - I was so stumped that I just quit stitching for over a year. I finally just went ahead and finished it no matter what and now I'm working on the next one :)
She's such a sweet little Jenny wren - I can picture her singing away and being happy. Such a pretty block!
pure delight I think this is so beautiful
This little bird is heart-stoppingly (is that even a word?) gorgeous! I'm in awe of your stitching talents, Gerry. It's always an inspiration to visit your blog.
Happy New Year!
