While seaching for lag bolts in the barn I just now found this piece that has been hanging on my pegboard forever. When I bought it I had thoughts of using it as a corner brace or plant hanger but the brackets (pink arrows) are not at right angle and I've never found the perfect place for it... BUT look at what I circled in blue That detail would be perfect to incorporate into the background of the owl... It just screams french knots, bullions, beads and buttons...back to the drawing board...
