New thoughts for give-away prizes.....

Well so much for housework... I went to the gazebo to water the rose cuttings and then decided to take the old cushions off the gazebo chairs and then I decided they needed a coat of spray paint and all the time I'm thinking what would be a special give-away prize and of course I can have more than one prize...I notice others do that...

Anyway in thinking of things personal from me...how about one prize being a start off my grandfather's rose..? Of course I can't send it out of the country and it is hardy to zone 3/4 but it would be a nice prize I think...

And then maybe if someone lived where they didn't have room for that beautiful rose I always have my pincushions... Would anyone like these for prizes?

Well it is 9:30 and the sheep are still waiting for breakfast and rather noisily if I say so myself..... I will keep on thinking while I'm feeding my darlings... Took these pictures yesterday for new sheep friend Inga... 3 bags full.

You pincushions are to die for and would be a wonderful give away. I know you said you didn't have much interest in your buttons but I think they would also be an excellent give away. You do the most wonderful art. What about one of your embroideries~a bunny maybe that was ready to sew down onto someone's CQ?

Only a sheep person could love those photos! I think the rose cutting or pincushion would make lovely giveaways!

The pincushion is gorgeous. I wish you would do a tutorial on how you made it. The rose bush is just beautiful too. I live in a condo now so no place for it, but those with yards would be blessed. BTY, I love reading your blog. You have a nack with the written word, and are so creative that I know your inspire many. Please keep sharing. Thanks, Jane

I'd definitely go for a rose cutting! Even if I didn't win I would pay for a couple!

(Your pincushions are gorgeous too).

I always like the unusual thread giveaways or, since I'm a sane quilter too, I like fabric FQ collections as giveaways too (especially if they have roses on them or pansies or...)

Both ideas are wonderful, Gerry. And, as the proud owner of one of your gorgeous pincushions, I imagine they would be a HOT prize! But I lust after the rose cutting, because, well.... you know me and roses, LOL. However, you’d probably have to give most people instructions on how to grow the rose from a start.... Hugs, Cathy

Oh Gerry, you could not give away your beautiful gorgeous pincushions, could you?
There are so many other things, your buttons are also lovely!! The one you made for me is still waiting for the "mother" book. But it will be done this winter!
Love your sheep. Do you still milk them? they seems to have milk ;)

Your pincushions are lovely, but so is your embroidery. I agree with Karen, a bunny or bird on felt would be a gorgeous giveaway.

Gerry, much as I would love your Grandfather's rose, I live in Canada and in a colder zone :(. But, your pincushions are also gorgeous. I check out your website every once in a while just to get a boost. And any of your buttons or animals or birds would also be a great idea. Your blog is on my morning reading list every day = I love the Morris pix.

Gerry, I just think anything you come up with will be graciously and gratefully accepted. You'll know what it should be when you finally decide. If I win, can I have a button too?

LOVE those roses.
