The tiny CQ fan ornament is finished and I don't need it until Dec. 20..... Sorry the focus is a bit off. Since all the gals are cross stitchers I hope whoever gets it likes it..
The most snow in November was 2' 7" in 1955... As of 9 pm last night we had broken that record and all in the last few days... Since it snowed all night I haven't heard the final figure but they had predicted 7 more inches last night... 20 days until the days starts getting longer (I don't count today as it's gone)

The fan is BEAUTIFUL Gerry!!!! I love to look at your work, so gorgeous!!
Lovely fan Gerrie. Keep warm with all that snow!
The fan is wonderful and whoever receives it should be honored. Have a good time in the snow. Linda
Holy Smokes, that is a lot of snow. Your mom is going to be real busy by the time you get out to check on her ;)
And, the fan will be a real test...if they like it..then you might be able to convert the population...if they nicely nod and say, "oh, how nice..." then you know you don't have a prayer...
good luck with the snow and the fan...
Which reminds me...there's a very good book called Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. Have you read it?
Beautiful job on the fan and so quick. Whoever gets it will love it. Nice change from the cross stitch ornaments which they probably already have enough of.
I can't even imagine that much snow.
We had 23" in Chicago when my oldest was in grade 1 and the buses couldn't get the children home so they spent overnight at the school and the next day all the Fathers set out with toboggans and sleds plus thermoses of hot chocolate and brought them home.
Glad I am in Florida for the winter.
Hugs
