About 3 1/2 months
I checked back in my posts and I started my critters in mid May so I have been working on them for about 3 1/2 months... All the motifs are birds, critters, bugs and flowers in my garden and I wanted them to be in harmony with the size of the patches. They are all about 2 1/2" and it takes at least day to stitch one. Motifs too large would overwhelm the piece and motifs too small would get lost... I'm definitely ready to get back to seams, seams, seams...

This is going to make you smile every time you put it on. Love it.
Gerry, even this post is such a learning tool for a person new to CQ. Thank you. The blank patterns placed on the blocks is a tip I'll remember.
Hi Gerry,
Please don't stop blogging, your blog is a wealth of information and you keep me inspired, I like to play in many forms of Art but always come back to a stitch , needle and thread:) Just like your favorite comfort food, when all else fails you return to it like an old friend:)
Hugs Marilou
