Well one more Morris and eye surgery update

At one point I decided that I wouldn't have a page for Morris's obsession with my bra....rather quirky on his part.   but Susan Elliott thought it should be a must... I do have room because I was leaving a blank page for  "coming adventures" and I am rethinking this option. Then I could do the pages attached to a spine  rather than eyelets and laced together.

Whenever Morris can snag my bra from the bed or the laundry basket, he whisks it away to snuggle with... If I can't find my bra, the first place I look is in his bed where he usually hides it...

The surgery went well yesterday.. They put  an implant under the eyeball to keep it from sinking any further into the sinus cavity...  I still see double with that eye but that may or may not improve over the next 6 months...   Same scenario for the nerve damage to face...

My advice to everyone is to not try to fly through the air as it doesn't end well... AND if you have propelled yourself through the air, DO NOT hit anything immovable face first.

Dear Gerry, I will take your suggestions to heart but if I become airborne, I doubt that I would have much control over the landing. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for healing.

You may "fly through the air with the greatest of ease" but you have to work on your landings! I did a face plant in front of the library a couple of years ago but luckily I came away with just a big bruise on my cheek and a headache that lasted a couple of days. And I was behind a big ole pick-up truck so I didn't even have to deal with the embarrassment of anyone seeing me. There are times when it is a good thing to live in a town with 250 people and 400 pick-up trucks (grin). And I hope you do use Morris and his cuddle bra. Too cute.

Glad to hear the surgery went well. Now take better care of yourself or I'll show up on your doorstep and attach training wheels, bumper pads and a helmet to your person.

Ok. I've been wondering how you did. I still don't know what happened to you but can surmise that you had a very very nasty fall. I too hope your eye heals quickly and your vision does return to normal. You are one of the bravest, toughest gals I know so I've no doubt that you'll be fine. And the bra obsession...well, I'm glad you decided to include it. It shows all of Morris' craziness plus his obsession with YOU!! HOpe he helps you heal too. I'm sure he hasn't left your side.

Big healing hugs, Susan

Yes to the bra page!

Reading the description of your eyeball sinking into the sinus cavity...well, all I can say is gross! And, here's hoping you have a speedy recovery and your vision does return to normal. You are tough.

Bless you.

Dear Gerry

I am sorry that I did not know you had had such a bad fall. Hopefully the sight will restore itself in the 6 months. As for Morris well just looking at him is the best medicine you could have. That crazy, loveable little dog.
