Oatmeal Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls - bread machine

A neighbor spent his Xmas Day going around the prairie plowing out folks that were stranded which certainly included us.. Today I am baking him something special..
Or if you are running out of friends to give starter or your cinnamon rolls double as door stops, try this recipe. It is my all-time favorite for cinnamon rolls and I do it in my bread machine... The oatmeal gives these rolls a light flaky texture. This recipe also makes wonderful dinner rolls...

Oatmeal Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls with craisins

FIRST: put 1/4 c. orange juice over 1 c. craisins, cover and put in microwave for 30 seconds and let cool....

Then put the following ingredients in your bread machine:
1/2 cup warm water
2 teaspoons yeast
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon molasses
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup sourdough starter
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Select dough cycle; press start. After the dough cycle has finished and dough has doubled in size turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
Filling:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, softened
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough into a 16x21 inch rectangle. Spread dough with 1/3 cup butter and sprinkle evenly with sugar/cinnamon mixture and craisins. Roll up dough and cut into 15 rolls. Place rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Bake for 20 minutes

Spread this frosting on warm rolls before serving.
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
