My favorite book for 2008
Of all the books I bought in 2008 this one is by far my favorite...Goldwork by Mary Brown. In fact it will be one of my all-time favorites. I used it on Bonnie's fan block and am trying to incorporate it more and more into my work. It fits right in with CQ embellishing and the techniques work with other trims as well. All these challenges just get my poor old brain buzzing and Cathy said metallics for December I popped out this book and lots of gold stuff. Hope to finish it this weekend but today I am PAINTING on my little red cabinet...

I just checked that book out from the library not too long ago and it was wonderful. It's on my list to get books, but I can't afford to start anymore new kinds of stitching until I use some I already have!
