Wil to the rescue....

The official total of 25.9 inches of snow was measured at Spokane International Airport in November, breaking the record of 24.7 inches set in 1955. ... and what a mess because it warmed up yesterday and the snow soaked up the rain and was impossible to walk in or drive in.... This is the 1/2 mile drive into our farm and if you look closely you can see our truck stuck about one half way in with the chains on....
DH couldn't get it out yesterday or today and finally a neighbor came today and pulled him to the house with a big tractor... Someone is coming tonight to try to plow us out...

Addendum: The snow plower came in with a big monster truck and got stuck and had to chain up.....

Remember Wil. my wonderful handy helper from last summer? Well he had no school today and came over to help me get the heavy snow off the big greenhouse and the gazebo.. The weight of it brought down the lamb shelter and so a huge pile of snow, lumber and roofing blocks access to the feeding and watering stations for the lambs and the other sheep.. We had to move sheep into different pastures and move watering bins and now all the water will have to be hauled in buckets until spring.. Wil got them full for me so it won't be too bad...and when we have this much snow I can just shovel snow into the bins and it melts (there are heaters in the water) No stitching tonight.....just bed... And of course Morris was sooooooooooo much help...he just loves the snow and with every leap he sinks in up to his chin...

Oh, yucK! Last winter's 30 inches that collapsed the awning over my patio is still fresh in my mind. It was a record here in the DC area, too. I'm wishing you relief soon.

It looks soooo COLD! That's alot of snow when a snow plow with chains gets stuck! Your helper Wil is a good kid to come and help you in all that snow. Don't hurt yourself carrying water.

Morris is always good for a chuckle...

WoW! The whole lamb shelter collapse is a shame. I guess none of them were hurt? Thanks God for Wil...and for folks who come dig you out.

Don't overdo it...
