Button painting tutorial

10/04/2010

Button, button and more buttons...

I've added bunnies, kittens, owls, squirrels, chickadees, ladybugs among other critters to the collection of buttons in my Esty shop and today I will be adding different bluebirds and hummingbirds.. I painted them a couple weeks ago and just now had the time to get them uploaded... Now that the weather has turned there will be be more time for stitching and painting and maybe, just maybe, cleaning house.

I was delighted to hear from a button customer who was so happy with her button that she posted about it on her blog. Her picture actually looks better than mine.... http://threadsofatattinggoddess.blogspot.com/2010/09/isnt-this-button-gorgeous-i-ordered-it.html
She's a tatter and looking to use it in a tatting project... I hope she sends me a picture. She says, "Now the hard part is deciding what I will do with it. It sits here on my desk, awaiting some special inspiration. It's so beautiful. And...I just thought of this...I just got paid. I can get another one!!!!" And she did.

Has anyone noticed the new look on my blog?????? Does no comments mean you don't like it???

  2. I didn't notice until you mentioned your header. It's lovely. I guess I go straight for your postings now that I'm a fan.

  4. Very nice - I think I kept waiting for something to come up like when you have something from one of those background blogs and it takes a few seconds to fill in.

So...there you go, tempting me with even MORE designs! This is how collections start, you know.

  5. I love your new look although I must confess I almost I had a panic moment when it was loading (dial-up is slow) and I didn't see the regular colours. I thought I was going to the wrong site. But the address bar had your addy so I just waited to see the nice surprise...and blue is my favourite colour.

  7. BLUE!?! Well, I must admit, I love it; it looks like the sky. Just got back from the CQI Retreat, so I don’t know how long you’ve had it up, but I’m glad you’re using your own artwork and designs! Miss you! Will write a long post as soon as we’re unpacked, LOL. Hugs, Cathy
