If you can't afford a plastic surgeon...get photoshop!

My granddaughter Leigha posted this picture of me on facebook this morning.  It seems all family pictures of me are when I'm in the kitchen and this one is no exception...rhubarb pies for DH...  It's always a shock to see pictures of myself..  I never feel this old or this fat.

Obviously this one was taken early morning as I hadn't even brushed my hair...  So I popped this old girl into photoshop for a makeover..

Of course the first issue is that double chin..and then some radical cropping to trim me up a bit. Then just a bit of a tummy tuck...  Looking better!

Well since I've gone this far why not a boob job and more of a tummy tuck...  Then I can slim up the sagging arm...  Finally that hair.... a trim..even out the color and get it out of my eyes...

Oh well, in my dreams.... Love ya Leigha!!!!

  1. LOL. That made me laugh because I always want to do a few 'revisions' on my photos with Photoshop. Love it.

  2. I keep hoping the Enterprise will beam me up and run me through their little scanner...fix all the aches and pains, do some trimming.....

  3. Well, I'll be 61 next month..the age spots are appearing on my hands, no amount of weight lifting will take care of that flab under my arms, spider veins on my legs keep me out of dresses now. The only thing that helped the hair was to go blond. To bad we can't photo shop our bodies in real time . A while back I emailed you about crow buttons..email was probably lost in spam. I'm headed over to etsy...I see a crow button at the top of your blog. Hope its still there.

  6. You crack me up!! My friends and I were just talking about this yesterday...I still think of myself of a hot number and 22. When I pass by a shop window and see my reflection, I'm often shocked at the reality.

Oh well, it's part of our marvelous journey through life...I think your eyes are beautiful in that picture.

  7. LOL! You always make me laugh - I think you look adorable! My girlfriend and I jut turned 6o - we keep asking ourselves when will they ever come out with a catalog where you could by a pill to make you look the way you do you in your dreams? Thing is...I've seen some of my friends who have had some Plastic Surgery and to be honest...I think I'll just stay me.

  8. We got DH a new camera for his birthday, and it has a feature that will minimize the wrinkle in a photo of a face. I am somewhat insulted by this feature! A camera gets to decide how many wrinkles are too many? Not for me! Hate photos of myself, but I try to remember how much I treasure photos of my grandmothers, wrinkles and all, and maybe my grandsons will feel the same someday.
