Romantic Nest


Cobi wanted a romantic theme on her stumpwork RR block so I set out to make a "romantic" nest.. I wanted loose-woven, soft colors with beads etc.... It's not cut out yet of course but you get the idea what it will look like when it and the bird are attached... I am so pleased with the separate wing.... Whatta ya think Cobi???

    Gerry, your birds are wonderful!!! I really need to try your "felt" technique!! I would sure save me from a whole bunch of tearing out of stuff I just spent forever making!!!The wing is fantastic!!! It makes the whole thing so much more lifelike!!!

    Oh! How wonderful!!! Should Cobi not like it (and I can't imagine that she wouldn't!) you could always send this my way! :) The whole thing is exquisite and having the wing attached seperately really adds to it!

    I don't know what Cobi thinks but I think it looks fantastic! Love the separate wing, it makes the bird alive :)
