Growing up in Los Angeles, i never had any problems with light, but now living in a canyon in the mountains, where our cabin has very minimal sunlight shining on it in the winter, this calendar will come in handy. i mildly suffer from SAD, but only because i started taking vitamin D in the winter months, which seems to make a difference. You never realize how much the sunlight effects you till its not there. I always celebrate the winter solstice for the same reason...knowing each day after that i will get a little bit more light :) Hugs and happy new year!black bear cabinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07542792082924938833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389379510958307370.post-41602359138314006312011-12-27T16:18:29.065-08:002011-12-27T16:18:29.065-08:00Thanks for the link Gerry. Thought they would find it fun to look up cities all over the world.

Hugs

FredaBFredaBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08000510495713705938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389379510958307370.post-38260045371004190852011-12-26T07:25:04.502-08:002011-12-26T07:25:04.502-08:00It is really nice to see the daylight lasting a li...It is really nice to see the daylight lasting a little longer each day. I wish we would not do the spring ahead, fall back thing with the time. That messes me up for weeks!
DebMosaic Magpiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08715004978582753127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389379510958307370.post-49473609530737344132011-12-25T23:18:54.137-08:002011-12-25T23:18:54.137-08:00Gerry, Thank you for the link!! Something that I'm also finding helps (and it's only been a bit over a week) is a SAD therapy light. Now I just need to get it back to the treadmill, because even though I never seem to feel it this time of year, I know the walking helps, too.Faithhttp://www.airynothing.net/Blogs/anblognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389379510958307370.post-51805091899381205502011-12-25T21:02:16.441-08:002011-12-25T21:02:16.441-08:00Merry Christmas Gerry! I checked out January in my area and it's interesting to see that those extra minutes of daylight at sunrise speed up from the beginning to the end of the month.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02649543737183491722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389379510958307370.post-64128992929720416662011-12-25T11:49:25.443-08:002011-12-25T11:49:25.443-08:00Merry christmas to you, I hope that this day is of...Merry christmas to you, I hope that this day is of the happiest for you and your family!
Joyeux Noël!!!

Beautiful dayEvyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12835793862742556692noreply@blogger.com
